T56 Mechanic

Department:     501-T56 PRODUCTION                    Basic Function:Perform Maintenance Manual level repairs, and/or Overhaul of RR T56/501 and P PT6 engines in accordance with approved data and published work scopes. Prior experience in the maintenance, repair and/or overhaul of RR T56/501 and P PT6 engines required.Essential duties are as follows but are not limited to:• Disassembly, inspection and assembly of RR T56/501 and P PT6 engines.• Inspection of engine parts and related components.• Understand configuration fits requirements during build.• Know and perform proper servicing procedures.• Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes.Requirements:• Powerplant certification desired.• Must have experience as an aviation engine mechanic, with an emphasis on the overhaul and/or repair of engines.• Willing and able to learn, with understanding of aviation procedures.• Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.• Knowledge of aviation engines and components.• Must speak and write English and have toolbox.A Plus• Experience as a test cell operator.• Experience in the repair and overhaul of Auxiliary Power Units (APUs).• Experience in Field Service work on related engines or aircraft.Basic Schedule:  6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Friday, additional time as needed.Equal Opportunity Employer - Vet/DisabilityDrug-Free WorkplaceInterested, qualified candidates can submit their resumes for consideration to resumes@turbopowerllc.com and reference position title in the subject line.Qualified individuals with a disability have the right to request a reasonable accommodation.
