Location: Mabuiag Island, Torres Strait, Queensland
Contract: 1 November – 9 December 2026

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join a remote primary healthcare team on Mabuiag Island. This role is ideal for a senior clinician with strong emergency and primary healthcare experience who thrives in autonomous rural and remote practice.

Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' nursing experience
  • Current ALS/PALS
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (First Responder)
  • MEC/REC certification
  • Participation in portfolio and audit management as a senior staff member
Highly Desirable:
  • RAN or RIPRN qualification
  • Sexual Health, Child & Maternal Health and Immunisation experience
  • Manual driver's licence
