This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role, overseeing all project cost management and helping to drive the financial success of their projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead Cost Management: You'll be responsible for developing and implementing cost control systems, creating detailed project budgets, and accurately forecasting costs from inception to completion. Strategic Reporting: Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting variances and recommending corrective strategies. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage potential financial risks on projects, developing effective mitigation plans. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and alignment with project goals. What We're Looking For: Experience: A minimum of 3 years in cost control, ideally within the engineering, construction or defence. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field would be highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency with cost control software such as SAP, or similar project management tools. Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills. The ability to manage multiple projects and work autonomously is essential.
