Shift Pattern: 4 Crew, 3 Shifts per week (days/nights rotation, Mon - Sat)
16 Rest Days during 4-week shift cycle (57%)

The Company:
Our client is an established manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, engineering excellence and continuous improvement. Operating within a fast-paced production environment, they invest in modern machinery, automation and their engineering team.
Due to continued requirements within the engineering department, they are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to help maintain production equipment, minimise downtime and support ongoing improvements across the site.

Job Description:
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment and site facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to emergency breakdowns.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.
- Maintaining industrial robots, CNC machinery and associated manufacturing equipment.
- Working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Supporting equipment installation, commissioning and electrical installation work.
- Carrying out root cause analysis to identify recurring faults and improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinating contractors and supporting maintenance scheduling and planning.
- Completing welding, fabrication and general engineering activities when required.
This is a hands-on position suited to a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working within a busy manufacturing environment.
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer position, you should ideally have:
- Previous maintenance experience within an automotive, manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.
- Experience maintaining industrial robots and/or CNC machinery, with Hurco experience particularly beneficial.
- Knowledge of BS 7671:2018 electrical installations, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Additional skills such as welding, fabrication, CAD, PAT testing or a cherry picker licence would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
