Maintenance Fitter

Lodestone Recruitment is working in partnership with a Sheffield based manufacturing business who require a Maintenance Fitter to work on regular days shift. Working within a small maintenance team, they are looking to recruit a Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Fitter will be primarily working in a small workshop doing mechanical based repairs to plant equipment.

If you are a Maintenance Fitter with some, or all, of the following qualifications, skills & experience, we want to hear from you:

• Must be apprentice trained Maintenance Fitter with a bias in Mechanical Maintenance or Fitting
• Experience in heavy plant maintenance with experience in steelworks, or similar or have maintenance on cranes.
• Ideally have experience in bench fitting.
• Some knowledge in electrical work would be desirable (not essential).
• Experience of mechanical strip outs and rebuilds.

As well as this, the company offers a salary and benefits package made up of the following:

• £38,000 - £39,500/annum salary
• Regular days - Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-3:30pm
