About the role Stellar Recruitment is collaborating with one of New Zealand’s premier mechanical and HVAC solutions providers. They specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of complex piping systems for large-scale commercial and industrial clients across Auckland. We are looking for a skilled Pipefitter who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and system integrity.

Duties
  • Installing and fitting commercial piping systems (chilled water, condenser water, and steam)
  • Working from technical blueprints and ISO drawings to ensure precise installation
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required specifications
  • Utilizing various joining methods including welding, brazing, threading, and Victaulic grooving
  • Pressure testing systems to ensure safety and compliance with NZ standards
  • Collaborating with site managers to meet strict project deadlines
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Commercial/Industrial Pipefitter
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
  • Valid Site Safe Passport (or willingness to obtain one immediately)
  • Current NZ Working Rights
  • Reliable transportation and your own basic hand tools
  • Strong commitment to NZ Health & Safety practices
