A local nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall condition of its facilities, grounds, vehicles, and equipment. This hands-on leadership position will coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, facility projects, staff, and outside contractors while ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate facility, grounds, vehicle, and equipment maintenance, including preventative maintenance.
Supervise, schedule, train, and provide direction to custodial and maintenance staff.
Complete and oversee repairs and facility improvement projects in a timely manner.
Coordinate outside contractors, review bids, and assist with contractor selection and project oversight.
Ensure facilities and grounds comply with applicable fire, health, building, safety, and other regulations.
Maintain facility, equipment, and vehicle logs and ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated.
Assist with developing maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures.
Identify facility, safety, and operational risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
Assist with annual facility and capital improvement planning.
Develop and maintain safety standards and emergency procedures.
Respond to facility maintenance and emergency needs as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in facility management or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
3+ years of experience in facility management or a closely related field.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Previous supervisory, budget management, and project management experience.
Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and respond appropriately to safety and emergency situations.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Must have or be able to obtain Acts 33 & 34, FBI, Child Abuse before starting role.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, work indoors and outdoors, shovel/plow snow, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to obtain required CPR/First Aid/AED, pool/CPO, and boiler certifications within required timeframes.

Full Time
First shift (7:30am – 3:30pm)
$21+/hr based on experience
Temp to hire position
