Carpenter

JV Recruitment are currently on the lookout for experienced Carpenters for a range of residential, commercial and modular construction projects across the Gold Coast region including areas such as Southport, Robina, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and surrounding suburbs.
Our client is a proud Australian-owned construction company known for delivering high-quality commercial and residential builds across the country. With a strong pipeline of projects across the Gold Coast, they are experiencing rapid growth and are looking to bring skilled carpenters onto their team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans and drawings
• Constructing, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made from timber and other materials
• Framing walls, floors and roofs
• Installing doors, windows, cabinetry and other fittings
• Working collaboratively with a team of skilled tradespeople
• Ensuring all work complies with Australian safety and building standards

WHAT YOU’LL GET

• $50 – $65 per hour + Super
• $21.94 Daily Travel Allowance
• Meal allowance included (when working over 9.5 hours on a shift)
• Time-and-a-half and double-time rates paid for overtime

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Current White Card
• Own tools that are tested and tagged
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in residential or commercial carpentry
• Own transport highly desirable
