Public Sector People are partnering with a well established, purpose driven Community Housing organisation to recruit a Corporate Services Manager for an initial 4 month temporary contract commencing in August, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

This opportunity would suit an experienced corporate services or facilities professional who enjoys leading operational teams, supporting people and ensuring business operations continue to run efficiently.

You will provide day to day leadership across a small Corporate Services function, overseeing workplace operations, facilities, fleet, travel and office services while supporting the team with guidance, decision making and escalated matters.

This is a hands on leadership role focused on maintaining high quality service delivery rather than driving large scale transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Corporate Services team, providing day to day leadership and direction.
  • Oversee office operations, facilities management and workplace services.
  • Manage fleet, travel and broader corporate services functions.
  • Coordinate office moves, workplace improvements and facilities projects.
  • Manage external contractors, suppliers and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and facilities requirements.
  • Provide advice and support on operational matters and team escalations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Monitor budgets, reporting and service delivery across the Corporate Services function.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience leading Corporate Services, Facilities or Workplace Operations teams.
  • Proven ability to support and develop operational staff in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong experience managing facilities, contractors and workplace services.
  • Experience overseeing fleet, travel or office operations will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A calm, practical and collaborative leadership style.
  • Able to quickly establish credibility and keep operations running smoothly.
