Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of drainage and utility pipework, ensuring all work is completed to specification, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing drainage, sewer, and utility pipework in accordance with site drawings and specifications.
- Laying pipes to the correct line and level.
- Assisting with trench excavation, bedding, and backfilling operations.
- Reading and interpreting site plans and drawings.
- Working alongside machine operators, groundworkers, and site supervisors.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure installations meet project requirements.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all site health and safety procedures.
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer on civil engineering or groundwork projects.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and levels.
- Strong understanding of drainage systems and pipe installation methods.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- Confined Space and/or Street Works qualifications beneficial but not essential.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Competitive rates of pay.
