As an APS6 Change and Release Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing enterprise ICT change and release activities, ensuring systems operate efficiently and securely across government agencies.   • Must hold an active NV2 security clearance.
  • 12 months non-ongoing (with 6 months extension option) and potential for ongoing.
  • Salary ranges from $102,266 - $114,988 +15.4% super (Annual Leave and Sick Leave)
  • S26 Transfer available for this role
  • Willingness to support operational continuity and adapt to project demands
  • Predominantly based in Canberra, with hybrid work arrangements.

Your expertise will support critical ICT operations by coordinating production readiness, managing change workflows, and overseeing configurations. Working closely with senior leaders and technical specialists, you will ensure that all change requests are implemented smoothly, minimising disruptions and maximising service availability. Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in ICT governance, service management, and change release processes
  • Strong understanding of ITIL standards and ICT service frameworks
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and workflows
  • Sound knowledge of configuration and deployment management
  • Ability to analyse issues, evaluate risks, and develop effective solutions
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to operate independently with high judgement and resilience

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience with project management tools and release management software
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and ICT service management practices
  • Prior experience working in government or large enterprise environments
  • Skills in developing and delivering training or workshops
  • Financial management, including budget and procurement support
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in ICT service management, change coordination, or release management roles
  • Demonstrated success supporting enterprise-level ICT projects and initiatives
