Payroll & Accounts Officer

📍 Bibra Lake, WA |  $80,000 + Super | Permanent, Full-Time

Reporting into Finance, this role plays a critical part in ensuring all payroll, financial and administrative processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time. You will support the wider business through payroll management, month-end activities, statutory reporting, accounts payable, reconciliations and ongoing financial process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

  • Process accurate and timely fortnightly payroll, including award penalties and allowances for a workforce of 40 employees. 
  • Interpret and apply relevant Industry Awards and legislation.
  • Manage onboarding, employment contracts and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee documentation.
  • Manage payroll enquiries and support managers with timesheet approvals.
  • Review and improve payroll procedures in line with legislative changes.

Accounts Payable

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain supplier and general ledgers.
  • Manage payment runs, EFT and B-Pay transactions.
  • Reconcile creditor statements and company credit cards.
  • Process reimbursements and manage petty cash.
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and policies.
