IT Delivery Manager

Contract Duration: October 2026 – 30 June 2027

Calleo Indigenous is seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager to support the delivery of a new regulatory management capability within a Federal Government environment.
The program will establish a new digital platform to support regulatory administration, industry participation, fee management, compliance activities, reporting and operational oversight.
The solution will be delivered through a phased implementation, with initial capability focused on core onboarding, invoicing and payment functions, supported by integration with existing departmental finance and corporate systems. Additional regulatory and case management functionality will be introduced progressively as the program matures.
 
The solution is being developed within an established Microsoft Power Platform environment, incorporating technologies such as Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, SharePoint Online and Power BI.
 
This is a senior delivery-focused role rather than a hands-on technical position. The key requirement is strong experience delivering government technology projects through to go-live, while managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies and coordination across multiple teams.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project, phase and release plans in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Lead Agile delivery activities including backlog management, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team of developers, analysts, testers and specialist resources.
• Act as a key liaison across multiple business, technical and delivery teams to ensure priorities, dependencies and responsibilities remain aligned.
• Facilitate regular team updates, delivery meetings and progress discussions to maintain visibility across all workstreams.
• Track delivery progress, milestones, actions and expenditure against agreed plans and budget.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, blockers and dependencies that may impact delivery.
• Manage scope and competing delivery priorities in consultation with the Product Owner and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal corporate, security, technology, finance and operational stakeholders.
• Provide clear and regular reporting on overall project progress, individual workstreams, key risks, upcoming milestones and decisions required.
• Prepare project reporting, decision papers and executive briefings for senior stakeholders.
• Manage release, change and governance requirements.
• Coordinate transition and handover to the internal support and sustainment team.

 
Essential Experience
Candidates will require demonstrated experience in:

• Delivering a technology solution within an Australian Government environment through to go-live and handover.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365.
• Leading multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Acting as the central liaison between multiple technical, business and operational teams to coordinate delivery and resolve dependencies.
• Monitoring and reporting project and team progress, including regular delivery updates, milestone tracking, risks, issues and actions.
• Running regular delivery and team forums to ensure workstreams remain aligned and accountable.
• Managing delivery within fixed timeframes and budget constraints.
• Managing scope and priorities with senior business stakeholders.
• Managing dependencies across multiple internal business and technology areas.
• Agile delivery within a government environment.
• Preparing and presenting status reports and decision papers for senior executive stakeholders.

 
Desirable Experience
Experience in the following would be highly regarded:

• Regulatory, licensing, compliance, fees or revenue-related systems.
• Complex system integrations and dependency management.
• Financial system integration.
• CRM or case management environments.
• Scrum, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent delivery qualifications.
