Job Overview
As a Material Handler I, you will support manufacturing and warehouse operations by receiving, storing, moving, and issuing materials needed for production and customer orders. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing and logistics. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, support production flow, and ensure materials are available where and when they are needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive, move, store, and issue materials, components, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Pick and deliver materials to production areas to support manufacturing schedules.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other material handling equipment as authorized.
- Verify material quantities and part numbers against work orders, packing slips, and inventory records.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material transactions and inventory control processes.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Follow established procedures for material storage, identification, and handling.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements using computer systems and scanners.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to learn inventory control, material flow, and warehouse processes.
- Basic computer skills for material transactions and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and established procedures.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment after training and certification, where required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferences

Travel & Work Arrangements
- Onsite position based in Tulsa, OK.
- No travel required.
- Must be available for overtime as needed, including weekends or extended shifts.
Pay Range
Starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour.
This is a full-time, hourly position.
