Site Manager (Residential)

FRS Recruitment are working with a well-established Irish main contractor to recruit a Site Manager for residential projects in County Galway.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of residential developments, with two projects comprising approximately 45–50 housing units each. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager seeking a long-term position with a contractor that has a strong pipeline of residential work throughout County Galway.

Responsibilities

• Manage site operations from commencement through to project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and daily site activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout all construction phases.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and design teams.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and company procedures.
• Promote a positive culture across the site team.

Requirements

• Experienced Site Managers from a main contractor background, ideally within the Irish/UK Construction Industry.
• 5+ years' Site Management experience on residential building projects.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and quality management.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple work packages.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage programmes and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant construction qualification or trade background.
• Full driving licence.
