Entry-Level Precision Ball Finishing/Grinder

We're looking for a mechanically-inclined, detail-oriented individual to train as a Precision Ball Finishing/Grinder. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to learn precision machining and measurement. No prior grinding experience is required — full training is provided for the right candidate with strong attention to detail, patience, and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate precision grinding equipment to finish ball components to exact specifications.

• Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions and tolerances.

• Inspect finished components for quality, surface finish, and accuracy.

• Follow established processes and work instructions to produce consistent, precision parts.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Communicate quality or process concerns to supervisors or trainers.

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Continue building skills toward becoming a fully trained precision grinder.

Qualifications and Skills

• No prior grinding experience required — entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in precision machining or measurement.

• Background or interest in woodworking, automotive/motorcycle work, engine rebuilding, machining, welding, fabrication, equipment repair, industrial maintenance, or vo-tech coursework is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and patience for precision work.

• Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

• Ability to take direction and follow established procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time

• Pay Rate: $18-$23 per hour, based on experience

• 1st Shift

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

• Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

• Temp-To-Hire

• Benefits after Probation period
