We are seeking an experienced Train Driver to support rail operations at a major mining operation in Weipa, Far North Queensland. These site-based contract roles are available due to operational requirements and offer strong extension potential.
GL class locomotive experience is desirable, with site-based familiarisation available for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate locomotives in line with rail, site, and safety procedures
- Shunting and wagon movements
- Changing rail switches and hosing down ore wagons
- Routine inspections and general rail duties
- Compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements
- Certificate IV in Train Driving
- Current Category 1 Rail Medical
- Ability to pass site medical, drug & alcohol, and background checks
- Strong safety focus and ability to work on a remote site
- 7/7 lifestyle roster
- Camp accommodation, meals, and flights provided
- Potential to extend up to 12 months
