Mayday Healthcare are looking for an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join a high-performing private hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

We’re delighted to partner with a large, well-equipped, modern private hospital in a thriving regional hub just a couple hours outside of Sydney, offering diverse surgical services, multiple theatres, day surgery and strong clinical support.

The Role
Lead from the floor - coordinating theatre flow, supporting staff, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment. This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone who enjoys being visible, approachable, and actively involved in clinical operations.

What You’ll Need

• AHPRA registration
• 5+ years perioperative experience
• Strong leadership & communication skills
• Solid understanding of perioperative standards (ACORN)

Nice to Have

• Leadership/acting NUM experience
• Exposure across scrub/scout, anaesthetics or PACU
