Due to a sustained increase in project workload across the *** Client business, the current Pipe Stress Engineering team has reached full capacity. This resource constraint poses a significant risk to project execution, schedule adherence, customer commitments, and compliance with ***'s engineering quality standards.
To mitigate these risks, we require an experienced temporary Pipe Stress Engineer to provide immediate project support, with an initial focus on the Commonwealth MCHE Module project. The selected resource must be capable of contributing with minimal onboarding, supporting critical-path activities, accelerating deliverables, and helping reduce the existing engineering backlog.
Role Scope / Key Responsibilities
Perform pipe stress analysis for Client piping systems using Bentley AutoPIPE and PRG tools, including FEPipe and NozzlePro, with primary responsibility for the Commonwealth MCHE Module project and subsequent support for additional active projects.
Analyze and evaluate piping loads on equipment shells, nozzles, and associated reinforcement pads.
Ensure all designs and analyses comply with ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code, project requirements, and *** Client engineering standards.
Deliver engineering outputs in alignment with established project schedules, milestones, and revenue objectives.
Support backlog reduction efforts and help stabilize overall engineering workload across the Pipe Stress team.

This temporary assignment will provide critical support to the Client organization by:
Protecting project schedules and ensuring on-time delivery of customer commitments.
Preventing delays in the issuance of CWHE attachment data to the Vessel Design Team, supporting downstream manufacturing schedules.
Maintaining *** Client's engineering quality, code compliance, and technical integrity standards.
Reducing the risk of schedule delays, design rework, and associated project cost impacts.
Enabling core engineering resources to remain focused on strategic priorities and high-value project deliverables.
Assignment Duration
Temporary assignment: 1–2 years, with duration dependent on project workload, resource demand, and backlog recovery efforts.
