Shift: 1st Shift Monday – Friday 9am-6pm (work until finished) May start at 8 am on some days
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Job Summary
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through material handling, inventory management, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and facility organization. This position helps ensure the accurate movement of materials, inventory accuracy, and a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Associate, your core responsibilities will include
- Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials and products
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders and production materials for shipment
- Load and unload materials manually or with non-powered material handling equipment
- Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipment contents against packing slips, work orders, and shipping documents
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation
- Maintain proper labeling, identification, and organization of materials and warehouse locations
- Accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
- Deliver materials to designated areas and support production operations as needed
- Inspect materials and products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workplace safety
- Perform other warehouse, shipping, receiving, and general labor duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications/ Skill Sets
- High school diploma or GED preferred; previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or logistics experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping documents, and inventory records.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet productivity goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
- Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
