About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an electrical, construction, or trade environment
- A New Zealand Limited Electrical Licence (highly regarded)
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
- Current Site Safe passport or willingness to obtain one
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting electricians with daily site activities
- Running and securing electrical cabling
- Installing cable tray and containment systems
- Supporting fit-off and installation works
- Assisting with testing and commissioning activities
- Reading basic plans and site instructions
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
- Following site safety procedures and project requirements
- Handling materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Competitive hourly rates and weekly pay
