About the role
Our client is a well-established poultry processing operation seeking a hands-on Processing Leading Hand to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, working alongside the team on the processing floor, and ensuring quality standards and production targets are consistently met. You will play a key role in supporting daily operations, maintaining accurate records, and promoting a safe and productive workplace.
This permanent, full-time opportunity offers an hourly rate of $32-$35 plus superannuation, working Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm. As an added benefit, a four-bedroom home will be provided rent-free after the completion of the trial period.

Duties
- Lead and support the processing team in day-to-day production activities
- Work hands-on alongside staff to ensure smooth processing operations
- Monitor product quality and ensure quality control standards are maintained
- Complete and maintain accurate production and processing records
- Assist with training and mentoring team members
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety and hygiene requirements
- Support the achievement of daily production targets and operational goals
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a food processing, manufacturing, agricultural, or production environment
- Experience leading or supervising a team is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on role and lead by example
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Reliable work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving
