Apply directFRS Recruitment are partnering with an established and growing organisation within the healthcare sector to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to contribute to a dynamic, multi-site organisation and play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audit activities
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls
- Analyse financial results and provide meaningful insights to management
- Assist with operational and financial improvement initiatives across the organisation
- Support a range of financial and reporting projects as required
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience
- Experience working within a large organisation
- Strong ERP systems exposure
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
Desirable Experience
- Healthcare or other regulated industry experience
- Experience working within a multi-entity business structure
- Previous leadership or people management experience
