Yoh is looking for a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to join our medical device client, supporting manufacturing engineering, new product introduction, electrical test systems, and sustaining engineering for complex electromechanical products.

The ideal individual will have strong experience with electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting, manufacturing test systems, and production support, with the ability to troubleshoot assemblies down to the board level.

Responsibilities
· Support new products through pilot production, launch, and sustained manufacturing while identifying and resolving manufacturability and testability issues.
· Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and electromechanical assemblies to root cause, including PCBAs, wiring harnesses, sensors, motors, power supplies, and embedded control systems.
· Design, document, validate, and implement manufacturing test systems, automated test equipment, fixtures, tooling, and production processes.
· Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve production performance and product quality.
· Support CAPA investigations, ECO implementation, component obsolescence, and disposition of nonconforming materials and assemblies.
· Develop and execute test plans and protocols, analyze results, and document findings.
· Support manufacturing planning including BOM structure, routing, sequence of operations, tooling, and electrical test requirements.
· Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain on DFM and DFT activities.
· Review electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and other engineering documentation.
· Drive improvements in manufacturing cost, cycle time, downtime, first pass yield, test coverage, and throughput.
· Provide sustaining engineering support and technical guidance to production teams.

Required Skills (Must-Haves)
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
· 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
· Strong electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting experience.
· Experience supporting production of PCBAs, wiring harnesses, sensors, motors, power supplies, and embedded control systems.
· Ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
· Working knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics.
· Experience developing and executing test plans and documenting results.
· Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
· Experience developing or troubleshooting manufacturing test systems, fixtures, or automated test equipment.
· Experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, signal generators, and power analyzers.
· LabVIEW and/or NI TestStand experience.
· Python or other scripting experience for test automation and data analysis.
· Experience with SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or similar 3D modeling software.
· Experience with Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar electrical CAD tools.
· Knowledge of DFM and DFT principles.
· Calibration and metrology experience.
· Lean Manufacturing experience.
· Medical device or FDA-regulated manufacturing experience.
· Experience with ESD controls and applicable electrical safety standards.
