Casual Education Support Educator (Secondary Schools)

The Role:

• Immediate start (Term 4, 2026)
• Block booking available for the right candidate
• You will be supporting a small group of Secondary years students with education support (e.g. ADHD, behavioural, etc) 
• Expect a Star is working closely with the Department, Independent and Catholic schools, to support with their emergency CRT/educator and Full-time needs. We are liaising directly with the School Principals to select and assign high quality Primary and Secondary generalist teachers when their needs arise.

 
What you will do:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
• Support students with additional needs, including behavioural, physical, social, and emotional support requirements.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to promote student engagement and wellbeing.
• Encourage student participation and independence in classroom activities.
• Support the implementation of individual learning plans and behaviour support strategies.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, staff, and families.

 
What you need:

• Certificate lll or IV in School Based Education Support, or relevant teaching qualifications and experience
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• 2x professional referees
