Overview

Client is seeking a Scrum Master to guide 1–2 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates. This role will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, support backlog readiness, remove delivery impediments, and help engineering teams maintain visibility, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Guide 1–2 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates.
  • Facilitate Scrum meetings, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Promote Agile principles and best practices within the team and across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Track team performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
  • Ensure transparency of progress through burndown charts, dashboards, and other information radiators.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, reporting requirements, and security protocols.
  • Work closely with IT, full stack, software, or systems engineering teams.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Scrum Master experience supporting agile teams.
  • Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Experience working with Product Owners on backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint readiness.
  • Experience tracking agile team metrics, burndown charts, dashboards, risks, issues, and impediments.
  • Experience working with IT, full stack, software, or systems engineering teams.
  • Understanding of government compliance, reporting requirements, and security protocols.
