As a Project Engineer at ***, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination in support of a US Army program. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. In this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will report directly to our Sr Engineer Program Manager and you will work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule (minimum 3 days per week in office).

This role is in support of the US Army's Total InteGrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) program for the AGT1500 turboshaft engine – the powerplant for the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank. You'll collaborate with US Government customers (Technical Representatives, Product Managers and US Army Lieutenant Colonels) and across *** functions (including Field Service Engineers, Overhaul Support Engineers and other technical specialists) in support of your projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• 2 years of experience in project engineering or related roles
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience in risk management and problem-solving
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline
