Apply directFRS are recruiting a Part-time Accounts Administrator for a community based organisation that provide a range of support services to individuals and families in the local area. The office is located North of Dublin City.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration and financial operations of a dynamic project.
Permanent Part-time position working 17.5 hours per week (job share role, including both morning and afternoon hours).
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager and staff team, providing essential administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the finance and administrtaive functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
- Assist with payroll processing and financial reporting
- Support procurement processes and general office administration
- Ensure deadlines are met and priorities are effectively managed
Essential Requirements
- A qualification in bookkeeping, accounting technician, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in bookkeeping
- Working knowledge of payroll systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience using financial software packages (e.g. Sage)
- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes
- Experience working within the non-profit or community sector
- Familiarity with funders’ reporting requirements
Terms & Conditions
- 17.5 hours per week (job share role, including both morning and afternoon hours)
- Salary in line with the HSE Clerical Officer Grade IV scale (pro rata)
