Analytical Science SLA II

Yoh presents an excellent long-term Analytical Sciences – SLA II opportunity with a trusted, long-term client located in Swiftwater, PA.
 
This position is part of a major pharmaceutical company, and requires a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields with 2+ years’ of experience in an industrial environment. Schedule is full-time M-F (7am-8am start time, 8 hour shift) and may require flexibility to work some evenings and overtime due to projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience with analytical testing in either an academic or industrial laboratory
• Work with methods such as liquid chromatography, spectrophotometry, immunological assays, biophysical analyses, such as particle size, and PCR
• Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot basic instrumentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Record data in specified formats and/or maintain a lab notebook detailing day-to-day testing

 
Qualifications:

• B.S. (or higher) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
• 2+ years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting
• Hands-on experience in multiple analytical techniques preferred
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work and communicate cross-functionally
• Ability to be flexible and responsive to change, be a results-driven problem solver

 



Estimated Min Rate: $20.00
Estimated Max Rate: $25.00
