Apply directStart ASAP in this temp role for our client who sells a wide range of top quality tools and equipment to distributors and wholesalers, across both Australian & New Zealand.
We are looking for someone who is an experienced Assistant Accountant, who will also look after end-to-end Accounts Payable, to join their close-knit team.
This role is working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, on-site at our client's SMEATON GRANGE offices.
Responsibilities include -
- Performing GL reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with month end and year end processes
- Calculate and process various monthly journals
- Calculate customer rebates
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Support budgeting, auditing, compliance activities
- Manage full function Accounts Payable for Australia & New Zealand
- Checking and payment of employee expense claims (Concur)
- Processing intercompany invoices and payments
- Adhoc related tasks and projects
Systems wise you have worked within ERP type systems and are comfortable with MS Office and have Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills.
You are capable of working autonomously but are also happy to assist others in the broader team when required.
