Duties
In this role, you will: 

• Advise on complex family law matters including parenting, property, child support, and financial agreements
• Oversee a diverse caseload involving divorce, de facto and same-sex relationships, spousal maintenance, children’s issues incl. Hague convention
• Advise private clients on taxation and estate planning as it relates to family law
• Engage in settlement negotiations, mediations, and litigation as required
• Draft high-quality legal documentation and provide strategic advice to clients
• Foster strong, trust-based relationships with clients and key external stakeholders

Skills & experience
The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 4+ years’ PAE in family law
• Experience handling a wide range of matters independently, including property and parenting disputes
• Strong technical, drafting, and client advisory skills
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational abilities
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
