CoreStaff, part of CGH Group, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson / A Class Electrician for our client, a large South Australian manufacturing giant based in Adelaide.
This is a strong opportunity for a qualified electrician who has proven experience working within a manufacturing environment and is looking for long-term stability, technical challenge and career growth.
About the Role
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor / Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
• Performing electrical maintenance across plant machinery, equipment and associated electrical systems
• Fault finding, problem solving and rectifying breakdowns to minimise downtime and support production output
• Carrying out preventative maintenance, testing, repairs and general electrical trade duties across the site
• Supporting safety, quality and operational standards across a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Working additional hours as required, including 1 in 3 Saturdays and participation in a 1 in 3 on-call roster
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A current Electrical A Class licence or relevant electrical trade qualification
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment — this is essential
• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical preventative maintenance
• Strong fault-finding ability, with PLC experience across Omron or Siemens highly regarded
• A reliable, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to work under limited supervision
