Safety Coordinator
Location: Northlake, TX (on-site)
Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-5:00 PM, with some Saturdays and overtime as needed

Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a hands-on Safety Coordinator for a manufacturing plant in Northlake, TX. You’ll work with plant leadership and production teams to prevent incidents, train employees and keep safety programs running every day. If you like being out on the floor and want to make a real difference in how people work, we’d like to talk with you.

What You’ll Do

  • Do daily safety walks and inspections of the production floor, equipment and work areas

  • Find hazards, recommend fixes and follow up until each one is closed

  • Lead safety orientation for new hires and run ongoing safety training

  • Enforce PPE requirements and safe work practices on site

  • Investigate incidents, injuries and near misses, and document findings and root causes

  • Keep safety records, training logs and OSHA-required documentation up to date

  • Support OSHA compliance and help with internal and external audits

  • Lead or support safety meetings and toolbox talks

  • Work with the Plant Manager and supervisors on safety goals and improvements

What You Bring

  • Experience in a safety, EHS or Safety Coordinator role in a manufacturing, plant or warehouse setting

  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards

  • Strong communication skills, and you’re comfortable training groups and coaching on the floor

  • Organized and detail-oriented with documentation and reporting

  • Able to work Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus some Saturdays and overtime

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
