We're partnering with a highly regarded Melbourne-based architecture and design studio with a strong pipeline of work across multi-residential, seniors living, aged care, mixed-use and complex commercial developments.
With projects ranging from $60M to $150M+, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from the early design stages right through to construction.
This role will suit someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys working closely with builders, consultants and project stakeholders, and wants to play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a close-knit, collaborative team where you'll have the opportunity to lead projects from feasibility and concept design through to documentation, construction and completion. The studio works in a highly collaborative manner, with Project Architects playing an active role throughout the entire project lifecycle rather than being limited to one phase.
The practice has a strong pipeline of large-scale residential and seniors living projects, while also delivering complex projects within sectors such as data centres and service-intensive infrastructure. As a result, they're open to speaking with architects from either a strong multi-residential background or those with experience delivering technically complex buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects from early design through documentation, construction and completion.
- Develop practical, buildable design solutions while maintaining design intent throughout delivery.
- Coordinate consultants, builders, clients and project stakeholders across all project phases.
- Produce and oversee high-quality Revit documentation.
- Manage project programmes, deliverables, quality assurance and technical coordination.
- Work closely with builders and owners to resolve design and construction challenges.
- Attend site meetings, manage RFIs, review shop drawings and support contract administration.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Support continuous improvement of project systems, workflows and delivery processes.
- 8+ years' experience within architectural practice.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale projects, ideally within multi-residential, mixed-use, seniors living, aged care or similarly complex project sectors.
- Alternatively, experience delivering data centres, healthcare, industrial or other highly serviced infrastructure projects will also be highly regarded.
- Strong technical documentation and project delivery experience.
- Excellent consultant, client and builder coordination skills.
- Advanced Revit capability.
- Strong understanding of Australian construction and documentation standards.
- Contract Administration experience or exposure throughout construction.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Work on projects valued between $60M–$150M+.
- Strong pipeline of secured work.
- Exposure to projects from concept through construction.
