The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Quality Control to work at a company located in the Miami, FL area!Job Title: Quality Control Job Location: MIAMI, FL 33122 Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $17 H 2:00PM – 11PM (Morning training) Job Description: Position SummaryWe are seeking a bilingual Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our produce warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing fruits and vegetables, ensuring product quality, food safety compliance, and adherence to company standards. This position requires experience working in cold storage environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately document findings using computer systems.Essential ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming and outgoing produce for quality, freshness, appearance, temperature, and packaging standards. Monitor product condition throughout storage and distribution processes. Identify and report quality issues, defects, damage, or food safety concerns. Perform product evaluations according to company specifications and customer requirements. Maintain accurate quality control records and reports using computer systems and Microsoft Office programs. Verify inventory information and product traceability documentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP procedures, and company policies. Communicate quality concerns to warehouse, production, and management teams. Conduct temperature checks and maintain proper cold chain procedures. Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective action processes as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. QualificationsPrevious Quality Control experience in a produce, food manufacturing, or cold storage environment required. Experience inspecting fruits, vegetables, or perishable products preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and data entry. Ability to work in refrigerated temperatures (35°F–45°F) for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and inspect products throughout the shift. Knowledge of food safety standards, GMPs, HACCP, or SQF is a plus. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a cold warehouse environment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
