The client his seeking a Licensing Aid. This position is responsible for the management of the Rhode Island statewide vital events registration for the client.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data of statistical information into the State’s database.
- Maintain the database and make corrections for reporting accuracy.
- Provide guidance and support to 39 cities and towns and the public.
- Support for customers making in-person requests.
- Issue Vital Records in response to in person and mail/online requests
- As required, to perform a variety of generic clerical tasks including typing, filing, recordkeeping, phone coverage, etc.
- To do related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Must articulate well over the Phone and Email.
- Ability to maintain confidently of records and information.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public and licensees
Education and Experience
- Education: Such as may have been gained through: graduation from a senior high school
- Experience gained through employment in a clerical or related position involving the exercise of independent judgement in the processing of various transactions.
- Or, any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above education and experience
