Salary: €55k - €70k DOE

Gi Group is currently recruiting experienced Site Supervisors to join established civil engineering teams working across a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout Ireland.

Due to continued growth, new contracts and ongoing project extensions, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to take on a key role within major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

The Role
As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day site operations, coordinating site personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of site operations.
• Coordinate and manage site staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines and key milestones are achieved.
• Supervise civil engineering, groundworks and associated site activities.
• Maintain high standards of quality control across all works.
• Manage labour timesheets, supplier records and relevant HSQE documentation.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Liaise with project management teams and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of works.
• Identify and address any issues that may affect project delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor within the civil engineering sector.
• Proven experience on water infrastructure, wastewater or heavy civils projects.
• Relevant and up-to-date site training and certifications.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and priorities effectively.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
