Assistant Director of Nursing

As the ADON, you will partner closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations, mentor and support nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of resident care are consistently achieved. You'll play an integral role in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, improving quality measures, supporting survey readiness, and fostering a positive, team-oriented culture. Your leadership will help create an environment where both residents and staff can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily management of nursing operations.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote clinical excellence and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations while maintaining survey readiness.
• Monitor resident care, documentation, and clinical outcomes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, employee coaching, and performance management.
• Participate in infection prevention, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, survey process, and clinical operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for mentoring staff and delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
