About the Role
We are seeking multiple experienced Linux Administrators to join a high-performing team delivering advanced technology solutions within a secure and highly regulated environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise Linux environments and associated infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems while providing technical expertise and support across a complex technology landscape.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for complex Linux-related incidents and service requests.
- Administer, maintain, and optimise enterprise Linux server environments.
- Manage virtualised infrastructure using VMware and KVM technologies.
- Support physical infrastructure platforms, including HP OneView and GreenLake environments.
- Develop and manage system configurations using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Administer and maintain Standard Operating Environments (SOE) using Kickstart and related technologies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication services, including LDAP-based solutions.
- Implement security controls, system hardening, firewalls, and mandatory access controls.
- Develop scripts and automation solutions using Bash, Python, Perl, or similar technologies.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues while maintaining service availability.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience administering enterprise Linux environments, including RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
- Strong experience managing authentication and directory services such as OpenLDAP.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools including Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies including VMware ESXi, vSphere, and KVM.
- Proven Level 2/3 support experience within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across Linux infrastructure.
- Experience implementing and maintaining security controls and system hardening practices.
- Scripting and automation experience using Bash, Python, Perl, or similar languages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
