IT Infra & Security Operations Specialist

About the Role
Our client is looking for an IT Infra & Security Operations Specialist to support day-to-day cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, incident response and security compliance across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will work closely with infrastructure, application, facilities and external security service providers to identify and resolve security risks while supporting continuous improvement of security processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate vulnerability management across servers, endpoints, applications and Azure environments.
  
  
• Monitor and track vulnerabilities, patching progress, remediation timelines and risk exceptions.
  
  
• Work with teams to ensure high-risk and overdue vulnerabilities are appropriately escalated and resolved.
  
  
• Support cybersecurity incident response, including investigation, escalation, containment, recovery and follow-up.
  
  
• Support operations of DDoS protection and Web Application Firewall (WAF) services.
  
  
• Review security alerts, attack reports and service performance, and coordinate with vendors on issues and remediation.
  
  
• Coordinate cybersecurity and infrastructure activities across internal teams and external security providers.
  
  
• Maintain security risk, remediation and compliance tracking registers.
  
  
• Prepare cybersecurity reports, dashboards and management updates.
  
  
• Support security audits, compliance assessments and governance activities.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  
  
• 2–5 years of experience in IT security operations, cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management or related functions.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or equivalent.
  
  
• Experience coordinating cybersecurity incidents and remediation activities.
  
  
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure security/cloud environments is advantageous.
  
  
• Knowledge of vulnerability and patch management processes.
  
  
• Familiarity with IM8, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or equivalent frameworks.
  
  
• Basic understanding of network, server, application and cloud security.
  
  
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
