Apply directWe are currently looking for Mechanical Assemblers and Electromechanical Assemblers to join one of our leading manufacturing clients based in Mt Wellington, Auckland.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on, mechanically minded, and enjoys working with tools and assembling products in a professional manufacturing environment.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday
- Times – start 7 AM – 3:30PM
Duties:
- Mechanical and electromechanical assembly
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Reading and following assembly instructions and technical drawings
- Fitting, fastening and installing components
- Conducting basic quality checks and inspections
- Troubleshooting basic assembly issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Working as part of a supportive production team
Skills:
- Hands-on and mechanically minded
- Confident using hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable working with small mechanical components
- Able to follow technical instructions and drawings
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, engineering or manufacturing experience is highly desirable
