These forensic psychiatry roles will see you joining a major health service focused on meeting the future needs of individuals and families living in Queensland’s south east region. With this region experiencing rapid population growth, the health service is focussed on developing a robust hospital and health service including fit-for-purpose health and well-being spaces, interconnected buildings and multidisciplinary health services, along with research, education and community partnerships.
These permanent full-time positions will see successful applicants delivering quality services across high security inpatient programs. Responsibilities may include providing clinical leadership, mentoring and guiding multidisciplinary staff, contributing to assessment and treatment planning using a recovery-oriented approach, engaging in consultation liaison services across the state, and providing training and development for junior doctors and other medical staff.
