We are seeking a dependable and motivated Packer / Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, order packing, material handling, and forklift operation. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment.
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Move, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform shipping and receiving transactions while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping and receiving, or material handling role preferred.
- Forklift experience required; forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer and inventory system experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
