VP, Human Resources

About This Position

This position is a key leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, overseeing all HR functions across the organization. With more than 100 employees in Japan and the U.S., this role requires the development and execution of HR strategies and systems tailored to the company's growth. You will lead a team of five HR professionals, setting the vision to support the company’s growth, implementing HR initiatives, and building a strong organizational culture.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in HR.
• At least 8 years of experience managing teams of five or more members.
• Proven ability to develop team visions, goals, and roadmaps, and successfully execute them.
• Experience in identifying organizational challenges, formulating strategies, implementing initiatives, and analyzing their effectiveness.
• Experience coaching executives such as CxOs.
• Expertise in workforce planning.
• Experience managing multicultural teams.
• Adaptability and strong decision-making skills in dynamic and rapidly changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in company-wide HR planning or HR consulting.
• Hands-on experience in various HR functions, such as recruitment, L&D, employee relations, HR data analysis, and labor management.
• Background in non-HR roles such as sales or engineering.
