Product Delivery Manager,

As a Product Delivery Manager, you play a key role in working with customers and internal global product stakeholders to define and drive a timely and quality product delivery for the Japan market. 

What you will do

• Create product assessments and pricing models for the target market
• Planning and managing multiple product releases.
• Deliver products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently.
• Work with the Global Product Managers to define the roadmap for any given product.
• Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team.
• Work within a matrix-organization with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (EA/GA/LTS).
• Actively participating in the Delivery Manager community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice.

Requirements

• Product delivery/owner/manager experience for multiple products – preferably across security industry
• Solid and repeatedly demonstrated problem solving abilities and evidence of use analytical skills to determine future actions and access past decisions
• Experience operating within Agile and waterfall environments
• Ability to communicate cross-regionally, fluently in English and fluently in Japanese at a native level.
• Evidence of creation of commercial business cases and using this to help prioritize product development/release decisions
• Experience of communicating and engaging senior commercial stakeholders as part of a product development process
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business and with external teams
• Significant experience (multiple projects) of leading meetings and ensuring that stakeholders are able to contribute to projects
• Experience of influencing stakeholders to deliver quality product development whilst meeting tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
• Experience of working in a B2B environment and of working with account teams and end customers
• Strong communicator
• Must be able to drive teams and individuals to deliver targets
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality
• Confident and able to speak out against the crowd and support their opinions with strong reasoning, analysis and evidence
• Passionate about improving both what their team does and how they do it
• High levels of attention to detail are required as the role is accountable for end results and must get the small things right
• Able to think on the go and adapt quickly to changing demands
