General Foreman

Design & Build Recruitment is working with a 10 year+ South East Queensland head to find a quality general foreman looking to progress their career into more senior positions. The successful applicant will work on a high-end apartment new build projects in Brisbane ONLY.

The successful applicant will join the team on an existing Brisbane-based new build project, with the opportunity to transition onto another major project in mid-2027.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking for long-term career stability, strong leadership support, and the chance to work on landmark projects without changing employers every few years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across multiple trades
  • Drive programme outcomes and daily site productivity
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and presentation
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with project milestones
  • Assist with site logistics, planning, and sequencing activities
About You
  • Proven experience as a General Foreman on commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and site coordination
  • A lean toward finishing vs structures
  • Trade qualification preferred but not essential
  • Passion for delivering quality projects safely and efficiently
