Design & Build is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an 8-week medical centre fit-out and refurbishment in Cairns.

This project will involve working within a live operating medical facility, so previous experience delivering healthcare or medical fit-outs is essential. The role will require a combination of day and night shifts to minimise disruption to the facility.

The Role
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of a live medical fit-out/refurbishment.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and site logistics.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
  • Manage QA, site documentation and HSE compliance.
  • Liaise with the client, consultants and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain strict safety and operational requirements within a live environment.
Requirements
  • Proven Site Management experience on medical or healthcare fit-out projects.
  • Experience working within live occupied environments is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
  • Excellent understanding of HSE, QA and programme management.
  • Current White Card.
  • First Aid (preferred).
  • Available to interview and commence immediately.
