About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for managing sales within a defined area. The individual will drive business development, establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distribution partners, and provide high-quality support and education around product offerings. This position is ideal for a passionate sales expert with a proven track record in the medical devices or healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Management
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and potential business partners.
• Understand customer needs and provide effective solutions to address their concerns.
• Support customers through product education, training, and expert guidance.
• Drive market penetration through ethical, consultative, and value-based selling.
Business Development
• Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Position and promote products as leading solutions within the market.
• Identify high-potential customer segments and develop targeted sales strategies.
Sales Planning & Execution
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and implement sales plans, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
• Take ownership of the sales function, driving it with a strong commercial and business mindset.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and resolve challenges.
Training & Product Support
• Provide product training, coaching, and ongoing support to customers and internal teams.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, market developments, and new innovations.
• Participate in internal training and contribute to relevant educational initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators
• Achievement of sales targets and overall business objectives.
• Effective sales planning, call planning, and reporting.
• Contribution to company and team performance.
• Compliance with quality standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical device, healthcare or dental industry
• Strong business acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience managing distributors or key accounts
• Strong presentation and sales planning capabilities
• Degree-level education preferred (or equivalent work experience)
• High ethical standards, adaptability, and a passion for innovation
