Position Overview
This role is responsible for designing innovative, cost-effective, and operationally efficient contract logistics and warehousing solutions for customers across multiple industries.
It delivers strategic supply chain solutions that drive business growth, operational excellence, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop end-to-end contract logistics solutions including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, automation, and value-added services.
• Conduct operational studies, data analysis, network optimization, and warehouse layout design.
• Prepare manpower planning, productivity models, storage calculations, and capacity analysis.
• Design SOPs, operational workflows, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Evaluate automation and technology solutions including WMS, robotics, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.
• Lead RFQ/RFP solution development and pricing support.
• Prepare commercial proposals, costing models, and operational assumptions.
• Support business development teams during customer presentations and solution pitching.
• Ensure solutions meet customer expectations while maintaining profitability and operational feasibility.
• Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitiveness.
• Engage customers to understand operational challenges, business objectives, and supply chain requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, IT, finance, and engineering.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in contract logistics, warehouse operations, solution design, or supply chain engineering.
• Proven experience in solution design, tender management, and customer-facing logistics projects.
• Experience in e-commerce, FMCG, retail, healthcare, automotive, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
Technical / Functional Expertise
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience developing end-to-end contract logistics and warehousing solutions.
• Capability in operational studies, data analysis, network optimisation, warehouse layout design, manpower planning, productivity modelling, storage calculations, and capacity analysis.
• Experience designing SOPs, operational workflows, and process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of automation and technology solutions including WMS, robotics, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.
• Experience leading RFQ/RFP solution development and pricing support activities.
• Strong commercial proposal preparation, costing model development, and operational assumption planning capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, AutoCAD, simulation tools, or warehouse design software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and costing skills.
