Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineers – Commercial Sites – North West – Up to £55,000
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a number of Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineers, across multiple disciplines to cover a portfolio of commercial properties across the North West
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building services works across a varied portfolio of sites. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy working independently, travelling between sites and dealing with a variety of maintenance requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building services works across a varied portfolio of sites. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy working independently, travelling between sites and dealing with a variety of maintenance requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will vary depending on your discipline (electrical, mechanical, air conditioning or commercial gas), but will typically include:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
- Maintain, service and fault-find on building services plant and equipment within your discipline.
- Electrical: maintenance, testing, fault-finding and minor installation works, including lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution.
- Mechanical: maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, pressurisation units and associated plant.
- Air conditioning: service, repair and fault-finding on AC and refrigeration systems, including splits, VRV/VRF and chillers.
- Commercial gas: service, repair and breakdown work on commercial boilers, burners, water heaters and associated heating systems.
- Carry out general plumbing and building fabric maintenance where required.
- Monitor and investigate faults with building services equipment.
- Complete routine plant and equipment checks.
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and contractors.
- Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with relevant Health & Safety procedures.
- Travel between sites across the North West
- Commercial Gas Engineer - up to £55k
- Electrician - up to £45k
- Fabric Engineer - up to £40k
- AC Engineer - up to £47k
- Mechanical Engineer/Plumber - up to £47k
- Salary up to £55,000 per annum (dependant on discipline)
- Monday to Friday – 08:00–17:00
- Call-out rota – details to be confirmed
- 22 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Company vehicle + fuel card

- Ongoing training and development
- Electrically/mechanically/AC qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above
- 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates
- Fgas essential for AC candidates
- Commercial Gas tickets required for Gas candidates
- Proven experience within commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled building services experience
- Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to travel across the required area
